Waxing Moon in Sagittarius

Autumn leaves
The Moon continues her Sagittarian journey today, enjoying the autumn weather, finding the perfect new book to read, signing up for a class on folk art, and meeting friends for dinner at the latest ethnic restaurant. Her aspects today are flowing sextiles to Saturn (exact at 10:01am EDT) and Mercury (8:31pm) in Libra.

Today's optimistic, open-hearted energy provides a context for the ongoing Mars and Venus in Scorpio transits. The Sun is semisextile Mars today, 30 degrees away, illuminating whatever Mars is bringing up for us, tempering potential anger and resentment with Libran balance. Mars for his part will make sure Libra doesn't just gloss over problems, as he continues to dredge up stuff from the depths we need to review. Venus has just moved past her semisextile with Mercury, heading for one with Saturn later on.

The transit of these two personal planets in Scorpio continues offering opportunities for insight, especially with Venus retrograde through early November. Bracketed by Libran harmony and Sagittarian enthusiasm, looking at some of our Shadow issues might not seem so hard right now. If we think of this time of reflection as a kind of personal archeological expedition, the Sagittarius Moon will dive right in.
