The Moon moves joyfully into Leo this afternoon, wanting to share passionately from the heart. Leo is the sign of courage, which we trace back to the IndoEuropean root kerd-, leading to heart (cor, kardio) and belief (credo). This Leo Moon challenges the slower-moving Earth signs and celebrates the energy of Fire. With this Moon, we stand up for what we believe and who we have become.

Yes, that's right––Mercury turns direct tonight! We worked with Mercury during his reflective, let's-think-about-this retrograde time, thereby avoiding the excesses of tumultuous Uranus and the eclipse Full Moon. (We all did that, right? The reflective bit?)

Now we're with naturally reflective waning Moon, and Mercury flows directly once again. All those who've experienced technoglitches and commuication snafus can breath :)

Wednesday, the Moon's movement through Leo continues with an inconjunct with Pluto (no, Leo does not want to jump into any alembics, thank you very much), a trine with the North Node (certainly, let's move forward on the path), and a semisextile with Mars in careful Virgo (yes, ok, we can doublecheck the details but let's move this along).

Thursday, the mix of energies continues. The Moon trines the Sun, still bright in the crystalline winter sky. A sextile to Saturn allows creative work to move forward. But what's this?
