Waxing Moon in Sagittarius

Jupiter loves "big," so today's Sagittarius Moon might find herself exploring some of the "big systems" like philosophy, metaphysics, publishing, or the law. Or perhaps she'll throw an impromptu party for a bunch of friends who don't know each other yet, and see what ideas emerge in the discussion. With Mars in Sagittarius now, and Mercury entering Sagittarius this evening, there's a focus on this Mutable Fire sign and the all-embracing energy it brings.

Venus continues her retrograde journey into Libra now, taking her exploration of relationships, creativity and finance into more comfortable territory. Venus is not particularly comfortable in Scorpio, since it's opposite Taurus, one of the signs she rules. Libra, on the other hand, is her lovely home. Now we have the leisure to examine the awkward feelings that surfaced during Venus' backtracking through Scorpio and figure out how to integrate and balance what we've learned.

Speaking of learning, we're still in the first days after the New Moon when the themes for this cycle are still emerging. Joyce Mason's blog post explores this New Moon in depth, reminding us of the importance of connecting with and listening to our intuitive selves.

With the Moon in Sagittarius, we have the enthusiasm to learn and the motivation to change, supporting us as we integrate the insights from our Scorpio journey.
