Waning Moon in Libra

The Moon in Libra is balanced and calm, aware that the experience of life includes loss as well as growth. In these last days of the waning cycle, this Moon makes it easier for us to integrate our new understandings and release whatever no longer serves us.

morning ride
Early this morning (6:54am EDT), the Moon challenged transformative Pluto in square. The Libra Moon surrenders to Pluto with grace, but without ceding anything essential. This square asks Pluto to remain balanced as well, and preserve what is good, and what is needed, in his inexorable soul making.

A sextile to Mars in adventuring Sagittarius is a happy meeting. Mars is Sagittarius is expansive, ready to welcome the Libra Moon along on his journeys to explore new places, people and experiences. The Moon brings equanimity to Mars' enthusiasm.

This evening, the Moon joins Saturn in Libra (8:34pm). She brings a lighter touch to Saturn's gravity, reminding him that work is intended to create beauty as well as utility, and there is a flow to life that sometimes calls for acceptance rather than effort.

This is a day of preparation for the coming New Moon in Scorpio, as Libra's serenity allows us to review our lives and experiences with a peaceful heart.
