As the morning unfolds, the mood is shifting. At 8:44am, the Moon challenges dreamy Neptune in outside-the-box Aquarius to find a calm point of balance, before entering her void of course time. At 12:54pm, the Moon springs into bright, active Gemini, rejuvenated by her time in Taurus and ready to think, talk, and connect. And speaking of connections, today's Picture of the day at WikiMedia Commons is a synchronistically apt image of Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Twin Towers.
Now we are ready to share the results of our time of reflection and review, as the Moon connects to the many planets clustered in the early degrees: She flows energy in sextile with revolutionary Uranus at 1:21pm, flows energy in trine with Saturn at 3:09pm, sextiles Saturn at 6:38pm, and trines Mars at 7:35pm.
Notice how the Gemini Moon makes flowing connections to both sides of the big opposition in the sky, doing what Gemini does so well ... talking to both sides, making connections, getting juiced about the possibilities for creating a new synthesis. We can join in this energy today with a similar approach to whatever issues we're working through, looking for creative sparks and new avenues for collaboration.
We're in the waning cycle, disseminating what we've learned and letting go of what no longer serves us. In Gemini, this may feel like a desire to share with others what we've been experiencing, and a willingness to let go of set ways of thinking and old ideas to try on something new. Only connect!
