The Moon Transitions Today

The exuberant Sagittarius Moon sends a few last bright rays from her torch back to Mars in Leo as their trine wanes and she heads toward the stately pavane of the late-degree planets.

Squaring Saturn in Virgo, squaring Jupiter in Pisces with Uranus newly in Aries, sextiling Neptune in Aquarius with Chiron newly in Pisces, and no doubt aware that across this morning's void-of-course she will join Ceres and Pluto in early Capricorn ... the Moon may be wondering if her Sagittarian enthusiasm can lighten all this Water and Earth up a bit!

The Moon does more that just circle endlessly through the signs, though. She offers us the chance to spiral; to feel, experience, integrate, and embody the shifting energies of the worlds as they touch our lives. So, learn all you can this morning while the Moon puts on her Sag philosopher's hat and sits with the outer planets. At 12:40 pm EDT, she goes void-of-course until 2:45 pm EDT, when she enters grounded and determined Capricorn.

This will be a Capricorn afternoon, and there's no shortage of work to be done. Capricorn is the workhorse of the Zodiac, not generally known for good spirits or good times.
