The Moon enters Aquarius this evening and we're dropped into the land of the trickster visionary revolutionary. This Moon has the ability to step back, take a cool look at intense and complicated feelings, laugh at the messes we get ourselves into, and make radically surprising moves into new territory.
The Moon's opening aspect in Aquarius is an energetic sextile to Uranus the Holy Fool, opening a night of big dreams unveiling visions of a future we could never imagine in ordinary reality. We're still in Samhain territory: Halloween may be past, but astrological Samhain has yet to arrive. Messages from other realms are flowing, and the Aquarius Moon is tuned in to the quirkiest channels.
In the early hours of Wednesday, the Moon squares Jupiter. The Aquarian Moon says it's time to shake up the powers that be; Taurean Jupiter reminds us to plan for the long term.
Wednesday offers a neatly symmetric set of aspects anchored by the waxing Half Moon. This square between the Aquarius Moon and Scorpio Sun tests our commitment to whatever we signed up for at the Scorpio New Moon. Transformation, anyone?

| Time for a change ... Arghhh! |
Venus and Mercury continue traveling together; watch for each to echo the other's aspects as we gain energy to express ourselves in relationships, in creative endeavors, and in life. Wednesday evening, Venus squares Chiron. The Mercury–Chiron square arrives just after midnight. Venus and Mercury visit the healer and mentor, but are not quiet students. These two have some tough questions about how to get energy moving to bring about positive change.
Also just after midnight, the Moon sextiles the South Node in Gemini––what can we bring forward from the past to help create a new vision for the future?
Thursday brings plenty of energy for positive change as Venus and Mercury trine Uranus in Aries. Energy, energy and more energy! The Moon trines Saturn, grounding the vision in reality and moving things forward. Later, the Moon opposes Mars, challenging us to link personal passions to community goals.
Just before midnight on Thursday, the Moon reaches Neptune in late Aquarius. As we're falling asleep, these two dream planets join forces in visionary Aquarius. Dreams tonight might reflect the energies of transformation swirling around us.
The Moon–Neptune conjunction opens a void of course time that continues through the night, ending when the Moon enters dreamy Pisces and joins Chiron. Early morning dreaming will continue strong; watch for healing dreams as you wake.
While the Aquarius Moon sails through transformational waters, look at life as an adventure and celebrate the journey!
